Itinerary

Day 01 : Paradise Beckons

Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be met and assisted by our Taya Finch representative in your transfer to Negumbo on Sri Lankas west coast where you will check in at your hotel and find your bearings the rest of the evening.
What a stay it will be as you choose between Jetwing Beach or Wallauwa for your relaxing nights accommodation.

Day 02 : Tripping Uphill

Wake up to a scrumptious breakfast and then depart to majestic Kandy where on arrival you will check in at your hotel.
A visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens is on the cards afterwards. At one time these beautiful botanical gardens were reserved exclusively for Kandyan royalty, but today everyone is welcome on the 60 hectares of the largest and most impressive botanic gardens in Sri Lanka.
Find a place to lunch on your own and then make your way to Queens hotel for a refreshing cup of evening tea.
Enjoy your overnight stay at Kandy House, Bougainvilla Retreat or Elephant Stables- comfortable options that are guaranteed to please.

Day 03 : Glorious Day

Indulge in a breakfast fit for kings and then take off on a city tour of beautiful Kandy encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its center. One of the islands cultural hubs, the city is also the center of the islands handicraft industry and also the place to find exquisite silver or gold jewelry and a variety of precious gems including the worlds best blue and star sapphires.
Explore the area and discover a venue for your lunch before returning to your hotel to relax.
The evening is an exciting one and many will envy your opportunity to witness the Kandy Perahara. This is one of the most unique and colorful pageants that takes place in Sri Lanka in July & August every year.
This is a Buddhist procession that pays homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha which is housed at the Temple of the Tooth Relic. See the traditional dancers, beautifully-decorated elephants, the fire-eaters and a whirl of color in general. It is the sight of a lifetime.
Retire to the Kandy House, Bougainvilla Retreat or Elephant Stables for your lovely overnight stay.

Day 04 : Cool as Cucumber

Sit down to a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel and then leave for Nuwara Eliya also known as Little England due to the cool climate resembling England in addition to the red-brick walls, mock-Tudor half-timbering that add to the atmosphere.
In April and May the town is crowded with Sri Lankans dressed in their finery for the Derby at the Turf Club; at other times of the year its much quieter, with stray horses quietly wandering the scenic roads.
Once in Nuwara Eliya check in to your hotel and find your bearings before heading out to lunch at a place of your choosing. 
Anticipate an interesting evening as you visit a tea plantation and factory.
Take your pick from among The Grand Hotel, Warwick Gardens or Lavender House for your peaceful overnights stay.

Day 05 : Trekking Time

Breakfast to your hearts content at the hotel and then prepare for a short trek of lovers Leap waterfall.
This beautiful 30m fall is a picturesque cascade that flows over hard granite ledges to be collected in a tank and used for drinking. The fall gets its name from the sad story of two young lovers whose unaccepted love led to them leaping to their death.
Afterwards find a place for lunch in the vicinity and then spend your evening doing whatever you like.
Enjoy a luxurious night at The Grand Hotel, Warwick Gardens or Lavender House and find yourself completely refreshed.

Day 06 : Coasting Along

Fill up on a good hotel breakfast and head off to Galle on the south coast of the island.
Galle is a quaint town with its roots in Sri Lankas glorious past. It is beautiful and serene, with pristine beaches that beckon the weary traveler. This colonial town is like a step back in time.
Make your own arrangements for lunch and then check into the hotel to relax the evening away and enjoy the sea breezes.
A blissful overnight stay awaits at Why House or Lantern Hotel.

Day 07 : Quaint Times

After a tasty breakfast at the hotel, spend your morning relaxing on the beach and doing whatever that piques your fancy before heading out to lunch wherever you choose.
In the evening, a must-visit is the Galle Fort was built in 1588 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Be witness to the colonial era architecture within the Fort and allow the charm of yesteryear to enfold you. Some lovely shopping also awaits within the Fort.
Spend the night at Why House or Lantern Hotel and emerge rejuvenated.

Day 08 : Goodbye Island Life

Prepare to catch your flight home as you make your way to the airport with the sure hope of returning once again.
